Get Fish from the Fishermen.

When you buy from a fishermen’s cooperative like Seafood Producers Cooperative, you get your fish from a fisherman. We, the fishermen, are the owners of Seafood Producers Cooperative and take great pride in getting the best quality fish to our customers. SPC fishermen use hook and line methods to catch fish. One Fish At A Time is our gold standard and is a traditional way of fishing that results in an extremely high quality fish. Careful handling of Seafood Producers Cooperative fish results in the highest quality seafood you can find.

Quality, not quantity, is how we make our living. Though we small boat hook and line fishermen catch less than 10 percent of the Alaska salmon harvest, we make the commitment to individually process each fish to make it the very best. In addition to our catch method, our handling processes make this fish special.

Catching fish–fish that feeds people, makes them happy, and provides a healthy protein for their diets–is an experience we hold dear, so we take our work very seriously and  take pride in the quality of our work.
