Frozen-At-Sea (FAS) SPC Troll King Salmon: Frozen-At-Sea Troll King Salmon are the highest quality wild frozen salmon available.  SPC has a special group of fishermen that freeze their Troll-caught salmon on-board their specially equipped fishing vessels within hours of catching the salmon.  We have perfected on-board handling, sanitation and rapid freezing techniques to provide our customres with a frozen Troll King Salmon that is unsurpassed in quality.  SPC's Frozen-At-Sea technology locks in the quality of these fish and makes them "fresher than fresh".

When are SPC Troll King Salmon Available?  The Alaska Summer King Salmon season generally has openings of various lengths in July and August.  There are limited Spring and Winter Troll King fisheries that SPC fishermen participate in.  SPC Fresh-Frozen King Salmon and Frozen-At-Sea King Salmon are available throughout the year.

Sustainable & Responsible Fisheries  SPC Troll Salmon fishermen are committed to fishing only on properly managed healthy stocks of King Salmon and with fishing techniques that sustain healthy wild fish stocks. State and Federal agencies regulate fishing methods and times to control the catch and prevent over-fishing from occurring. SPC Alaska caught products have been recognized by organizations like the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) as sustainable fisheries and are listed as "Best Choices" by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch.
